Development of skills in creative writing (fiction, poetry, scripts) and critical writing, including essays, reviews, and academic analysis. Study of critical theories such as feminism, postcolonialism, Marxism, psychoanalysis, and deconstruction to understand and analyze texts from various perspectives. Study of the structure, function, and history of the English language, including phonetics, syntax, semantics, and sociolinguistics.
